Street is a village, growing into a town about 2 miles from Glastonbury (home of the famous festival) in Somerset. One Quaker family, the Clarks, settled there and their shoe making business later became the famous Clarks Shoes. The factory land has now been turned into Clarks Village - a retail outlet centre. The Clark family mansion is now Millfield School.
